The home was given to Sergeant Justin Young, who was wounded in action in Iraq in October 2006. Cyprexx Services, LLC provided a full rehab of the home, including a new roof, carpets and appliances. “GMAC Mortgage is proud to be able to do something to give back to the men and women who have given so much in serving our country,” said Joe Pensabene, executive vice president, GMAC Mortgage. “With guidance from the Military Warriors Support Foundation, we’re honored to give Sergeant Young and his family a home.” The Military Warriors Support Foundation is a nonprofit based in San Antonio founded in 2007 by Leroy Sisco, a retired three-star general and chief executive officer of the organization. The foundation supports veterans in finding jobs, medical care, education and homes. Young, who has earned more than ten medals and badges in the course of his military service, will move into the house in the coming weeks, and a presentation ceremony will take place today at the Five Star Conference in Dallas, Texas. The donated home was from GMAC Mortgage’s inventory of owned properties. About GMAC Mortgage LLC Contact: Susan Fitzpatrick |
