Anthony S. (Tony) Marino

Anthony S. (Tony) Marino was appointed chief human resource officer for GMAC Financial Services in 2007. In this capacity, he has responsibility for global human resource strategy and administration, compensation and benefits, organizational development, talent management, talent engagement, staffing and management responsibility for our human resources business process outsourcing contracts with Accenture and Hewitt.

Most recently, Marino served as chief human resources officer for Lennar Corporation, where he established a strategic, talent focused human resources department. While at Lennar he also led significant organizational change programs. Before joining Lennar, Marino led human resources strategy and execution roles at Bank of America. He also worked for two companies long known for human resources best practices, Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal) and Pepsi Food Systems. While at Honeywell, Marino was vice president human resources and communications, Transportation and Power Systems and held similar human resources and leadership development roles at Pepsi Food Systems.

Marino’s former roles have included global assignments in Europe and Asia.

Marino is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and was instrumental in Bank of America’s enterprise wide implementation of Six Sigma. He is also the author of a leadership development workbook series titled “The LeadersSource.”

Born June 26, 1963, Marino earned his bachelor’s of business administration from Ohio University in 1985.
